The new URDG 758 will enter into force on 1 July 2010, following a two year revision process under the aegis of the ICC Banking and Commercial Law Commissions. They create a new set of independent guarantee rules for the 21st Century, containing new definitions and interpretation rules to provide greater certainty in demand guarantee practice. We are pleased to advise that the revised Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees can now be ordered from Strong & Herd. We expect delivery of the new URDG in late-February.
