This advanced level two-day workshop gives practical advice on rules, regulators, working with Customs / Freight Agents, advice and helplines. You will receive guidance on completing different types of import / export entries and then challenged to complete your own. This course looks in detail at NES, direct & indirect exports, DUCR, MUCR, ECS, ICS, SOE codes, licences, inventory controls, CSP, simplified procedures, CFSP, EIDR, temporary storage and software providers. It will include a review of the CHIEF replacement Customs Declaration Services (CDS) due to be in place 2020 and how it differs from CHIEF. Ideal for upskilling existing staff or enhancing your understanding of what is required for customs declarations. Eligible for the Government Customs Training grant funding.
