Special Procedures under UCC

Selected Date: Wednesday 27 November 2019

Course Venue: London: ETC Venues Tenter

Under the Union Customs Code (UCC) which came into force on 1st May 2016 new Special Procedures now apply for companies wanting to use Inward Processing, End-Use, Customs Warehousing, Temporary Admission or Transit procedures. This course is designed to give companies practical guidance in a workshop environment and looks at the new Special Procedures and the Transitional Measures that were introduced to bridge the gap between the old and new Customs Laws.  This includes reviewing the new customs public notices, application forms and reporting requirements as well as explaining the new terms/ abbreviations introduced under the UCC (eg CCG1, EIDR, BOD,GUM, SDBA and SDPA amongst many others).

It will also look at other procedures and responsibilities linked to these Special Procedures being introduced under the UCC such as the introduction of Financial Guarantees, Guarantee waivers and how being an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) or not will affect the way a company operates within the UK/EU.  This is a practical workshop and numbers will be strictly limited.

This course is a must for anyone trying to make sense of the new regulations.  Companion courses are available if you are interested in a general awareness of the changes (What's New) or about AEO and how to apply.
