Manchester, February 20-21, 2020

This brilliant, intuitive and intensive programme of activity is brought to by Strong and Herd in association with Lesley Batchelor OBE. The ExportBootCamp is designed to enable you to start your journey to begin or enter a new export market quickly and efficiently leaving you to grow a profitable export business.

After this intensive programme of activity you will leave a working Strategic Plan specific to your own business needs. It’s a plan that will be easy for you to build on as more information and ideas spring to mind. An organic document that will be fit for purpose as a template for any new markets once the first goal has been set.

“There is no such thing as an average export and that means there is no one size fits all in export planning.”

(Lesley Batchelor OBE)

As the days progress you will be working through major issues and finding real solutions not just regurgitating theory. We’ll take business models and show you the relevance to your business and how to adapt them for international trade. Importantly, we’ll look at understanding how international sales works in the 21st century and how we can ensure a sustainable working relationship with your new clients. After the first camp stage, you will have your own strategic plan, which is specific to your business and easy to build on.

The second stage will guide you in the collection of key market intelligence, including local regulations, compliance issues, packaging and possible non-tariff barriers. It will also focus on how to look for the best partners.

By the end of the second day, you will have gathered enough market intelligence to begin to work on a detailed, tactical action plan.

Who should attend? Directors, senior managers and any staff with strategic decision-making authority and are actively seeking to develop business by entering new markets.
