It is esssential that delegates clearly understand Incoterms 2000 before attending this update course. Incoterms rules defines the responsibilities of buyers and seller for the delivery of goods under sales contracts. Incoterms 2010 takes into account the latest development in commercial practice, the fact that the United States' Uniform Commercial code was revised in 2004, resulting in a deletion of the US shipment and delivery terms, and updates and consolidates some of the former rules. This half day presentation will concentrate on the 2010 changes into two distinct groups for sea freight only and any type of transport.
